Insurance Pre-Licensing

The Pre-Licensing courses are State approved and comply with State Education Requirements for Licensure. Once the student has successfully completed the course and final examination, his/her name will be sent to the State of Florida Department of Insurance indicating eligibility to sit for the State licensing examination.

INS025FL40 —2-14 Life (including Annuities and Variable Contracts) Agent Pre-Licensing Course
(40 hours completely online including the final exam)

This licensee would then be able to serve as an individual representing an insurer as to life insurance and annuity contracts, including agents appointed to transact life insurance. The 40 hours of credit are earned completely online in the virtual classroom. Work at your own pace with your instructor who is available by email. It is designed and taught to comply with and fulfill the requirements for the State requirements for Life pre-licensing education. br>

Topics include fixed-dollar annuity contracts, or variable contracts by the same insurer. INS013FL40 — Accredited Claims Adjuster Designation Course (ACA) Online

This course fulfills the educational requirement for the 6-20 Company/Independent All-Lines adjuster license. It is a Florida Approved designation course, which functions like a pre-licensing course (you must take it before getting your license).

Topics include Property and Liability Insurance Concepts, Personal Automobile Policy, Business Auto Policy and Mechanical Breakdown Coverage, Homeowner Policies, Personal Inland Marine and Flood Insurance, Boiler and Machinery Insurance, Workers Compensation Insurance, and Health Insurance (view syllabus). Upon enrolling, you will receive immediate access to the course. Enrollment is for 3 months.

Become a licensed Accredited Claims Adjuster without the loss of production income and time. The 40 hours of this state-approved course are entirely online including the course final exam. Work at your own pace with your instructor by email or telephone. The course is designed and taught to comply with the State requirements for an Accredited Claims Adjuster designation course. After completion of this course, you may apply to the Florida Department of Financial Services for the 6-20 All-Lines (Independent/Employee Adjuster) license. This course waives the State exam for the 6-20 license.

A licensed 6-20 Adjuster desiring to work as a Public Adjuster may do so by first being appointed as a 31-20 (Public Adjuster Apprentice), and after 6 months take the 3-20 State Exam and become a 3-20 Public Adjuster.

REFUND POLICY

Refund requests must be received within 24 hours.

Refund must be requested in writing by email to continuingeducation@easternflorida.edu within 24 hours of the time/date stamp on the Welcome Message sent out from OnLine Training Institute. Welcome Messages are usually sent out within 1-2 business days of registration. Any refund requests submitted during term breaks when the college is closed will not be considered.
