At the end of ef each reading passage there is a question at the bottom of the page as well as the section mini-tests. For questions requiring a fill-in answer, I am finding that most of the time, my answer is correct yet I'm being told there's no credit for my answer because I didn't answer exactly. when I see the correct answer it appears exactly as mine does. Is there a system glitch or is there a different way to answer? it's extremely frustrating.

We are in the process of updating all of the short answer questions in the conversion course. Right now, none of the short answer questions (except in Unit 6 and part of Unit 7) have been told what the correct answer is.
In this newest version of the Moodle (the program we use to manage our courses) we will be able to check for the specific correct answer and give credit for it. The first step of the re-write was to change all the current responses to state that the answer didn't match the correct answer, the next step will be to insert a new correct answer and a response that states "You got it right!". Within the next week we will have the questions in the conversion course updated to the new format.
We will move from there to each of our other courses and soon every course will help our students learn better by checking for specific correct answers to each short answer question.
