I have just this moment completed the INS003FL40 course, and completed the grade submission form. I want to say, for whatever it's worth, that I enrolled in this course just before the new year, and I assumed that, with my knowledge & life experience, this would be a breeze.
I was wrong. And sure, this was not the most difficult course I have ever taken, but I quickly realized that I could not rely only upon my experience to breeze through. I needed nearly the entire allotted time to complete it, and I realized just how much I did NOT know. I learned so much.
Insurance was never on my personal radar, but after working as a healthcare marketplace navigator, and assisting hundreds of people obtain health insurance, my eyes were opened to new possibilities. I am looking forward to this new page in my life.
I completed this course while working full-time and being deeply involved in volunteer leadership activities; I also had to deal with a couple of family disasters along the way. But I did it. And if I can, certainly just about anybody can, too.
Good luck and best wishes to everybody!
Thank you, Jan! I shall certainly do my best, and I'm preparing to schedule the state examination today. Your words really mean a lot to me!
Thank you Joanne and May God Bless you and your family too! Paula
I completed the course on October 15th after a month of hard studies. I took the tate exam yesterday and passedit on the first try. I suggest to to the end of chapter test and sample questions at the end of the book. The textbook needs to accompany the lessons in the online course, you will be left pretty confused if you don;t read the chapters.
My suggestion to those who are starting the course now.
Best of luck.

To clarify, I think you are referring to the INS005FL40 course. This is a designation course which means that you are not responsible for all of the information in the state study manual. This course is not required to follow the state manual exactly. The state manual is a reference for the course. This course does not require the learner to sit for a state exam. The only test required is the course final exam.
Congratulations on passing the course and exam. Best of luck with your insurance career.
Jan
