How can we compute what our test final grade will have to be in order to score a 70% to pass the class?
Re: Final class test
by Jan Bradburn- - Your course score plus your final exam grade must equal at least 70% when you divide these scores by 2. Example: course score = 90; exam score = 60 Total score = 150/2 = 75%
Jan, would this not be an incorrect example? I thought you had to have a 70% on the final exam to pass the course and the end of chapter test could only improve your score. Example (70 on exam + 100 on test = 85% for the class) Am I correct in saying this? Otherwise you could get 100 on the tests and a 40 on the exam and have a 70 in the clas which technically would be a passing grade.
