I just passed my final exam last week and getting ready to schedule my state exam. I'm considering just to study the manual and the practice exams and take the test without any flashcards or doing the crash course - does anyone have any advice on how to pass the State Exam, aren't there practice exams somewhere that might be free online? I'm trying to avoid the whole $300 crash course fee. Thanks!
Re: state exam
by Jan Bradburn- - There are practice exams available online, but they all have a cost associated with them. Kaplan and PearsonVue are two sources of online practice tests.

Mary,
Does the OTL Pass Prep course prepare you for the state exam because the information I've studied on this website has not helped me.I passed my final but I've already attempted the State Exam twice and my score was to low. I am now turning to desperate measures.I can longer just use the material on the this website like the quizzes I need something more effective.
