Re: Salary
by Jan Bradburn- - The base salary differs slightly betwen field sale operations and call center operations. A good base salary for call center sales is $30,000 - with incentive you make between $50,000 and $70,000. The base salary for field sales is slightly higher, but it also harder to build your book of business to reach the high end of the salary with incentive.
Thanks guys! Now I have an idea.
I think that I would like more a field sales operation since I enjoy meeting face to face with people. On the other hand, I know people who work for a big company selling only health insurance through call centers. They made between 80k and 120k a year. They work 50 to 60 hours a week and get like 10 dollars an hour plus commission and renewals. Not bad, but you have to be willing to be talking at the phone 10 horas a day.
