the answer is 12,000-250 (basic deductible)=11,750
11,750 x 80%=9,400
The question is only for the PIP payment .

by Jan Bradburn- - The question is only asking how much PIP Sally will collect. Sally and Beckie are in Beckie's car, but each girl will use her own PIP (because PIP follows the person). The information about Med Pay and UM is excess information that is not needed to answer the question. The state is notorious for giving extra info!
Sally has $12,000 in medical bills - 12,000X80% = $9600.
