Clarification on question in Lesson 4.2f
by Jay 1 Nudelman1 - There is a question relating to destroyed furniture due to fire at the insured's vacation home. The published answer to the amount payable is $4,500, based on furniture's ACV of $5,000 less a $500 deductible. Shouldn't the coverage limits apply? Will someone please clarify? Coverage C is $35,000, per conditions of the question.

by Jan Bradburn- - Jay, You have not supplied enough information to answer your question. Is this a DP policy or an HO policy? Which coverage limits do you feel do not apply in this case?
