Here is the question I was going to email... my manual (22nd edition) says that as of Jan 1, 2013 a few things would change (PIP medical payment and death payment for example). In the quizzes though it doesn't look like they take this change into account.
My question is, did these changes not take place or are the quiz questions out of date? Or am I just reading things incorrectly?
Michael - Thank you for your question. I thought all of the test questions had been updated to reflect the new PIP changes that took place on January 1, 2013. I will go back and re-check all questions to find any that I may have missed. - thanks for pointing this out - Jan
Hi again Michael - I think I found the question you referenced in your earlier email... I have requested this question be revised to show the correct answer of $15,000.
Thanks again - Jan
What is the maximum paid for all four types of benefits under PIP?
A. $5,000 | ||
B. $50,000 | ||
C. $10,000 | ||
D. $20,000 |
I might be mistaken but I thought their were actually two questions that were alike (where the medical was not treated as additional). I'm just going from memory though so I may be wrong.
The questions would have been back to back I think in the PIP quiz.
how often are the questions updated? Are the questions a true reflection of the questions on the 2-20 state exam?? Please advise
Hi Harry,
Typically questions are updated anytime the content they cover changes.
Here is what your instructor has had to say about the course questions compared to the state exam...
...the online course questions in the unit and final exams have the same content as the state exam questions. Be prepared for the state exam questions to be rather lengthy scenario-based questions that are based on the same content materials that was emphasized throughout the course. Advise I give to all students is to read each question twice and make sure you understand what the questions is asking. Many of the state exam questions provide information that is not needed to answer the question. It is okay if you don't use all of the information provided. - Jan Bradburn
