I sent an email last week to the person who is in charge of our program at the college in Ocala but I never received an answer so maybe if I poast this on the board someone will respond.
I sent in my unit grades and the date on which I wish to take my final exam.
I never received a confirmationt that I am registered to take my exam that day.
I would like to have a verification and a location for the exam.
I am also wondering how many questions I would need to have correct on the final to pass the course if my grade average is 100.
I was also wondering how many attempts are we given to pass the final exam if we should fail it the first time.
Jan,
I spoke w/my facilitator at the college where I will eventually take the final and she said that we are given two attempts to pass final--so I'm confused when indicate only one attempt?
The guidelines sometimes differ between colleges.
There should be no difference between the guidelines between colleges, after all, if I had known that, I could have chosen to do my course final at a more liberal college. That does not seem very fair at all.
There should be uniformity in the procedure to complete the requirements. This does not seem legal.
There are procedures to follow for taking the State exam and there should be set procedures for passing the pre-licensing final as well.
The guidelines in real estate are upheld uniformly through out the state, why not concerning insurance???
Like real estate - the procedures for taking the state licensing exam are set by the state and they are consistent. However - you are currently taking a college course in pre-licensing. At the college course level - an instructor may allow a student to re-test for a final exam while other instructors will not allow re-testing. This is true of all college courses, even within the same college. Colleges are also free to set their own fees, so the tuition costs vary between colleges, but the state exam fee is the same for all students.
